ABOUT THE CONSULATE

The Consulate is located at Floor 5 of 535 Boylston Street which is at the corners of Clarendon and Boylston Streets and directly across from Trinity Church at Copley Square. The closest T station is Copley on the Green Line. Visitors to the building should note that they are required to show security staff some form of identification when entering the building. The public office is open from 10am to 3pm.

Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont are the States accredited to the Consulate in Boston. If you reside in another State, we recommend that you check the Embassy website  to ascertain which Mission in the US you should contact.

Consulate Out of Hours Service

The Consulate provides an emergency service outside normal office hours. The service can be accessed by calling our main number at +1 617 267 9330 and leaving a message when prompted. A consular office will return your call at the earliest opportunity.  Please note that only emergency calls will be responded to outside office hours. When you leave a message, remember to state your name, the nature of the problem, where you are now, and the details of how the Duty Officer can contact you (e.g. leave your mobile phone number, or the phone number of the hotel/hostel where you are staying).
