Foreign Births Registration (Irish Citizenship by Descent)
Residents of Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Vermont who have a grandparent who was born in Ireland may apply for Irish citizenship through Foreign Births Registration at the Consulate in Boston.
